Arusha, Moshi and Ngorongoro Tour Itinerary

Day 1
Start Point
Arrive anytime at Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO). Maasai tribe Adventure will arrange a private transfer from Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to Kilimanjaro and stay at Sophie's Homestay.
Day 2
Today, you will enjoy a day surrounding the famed Mount Kilimanjaro. Materuni is the home of the Chagga tribe and a great, authentic tribal village lying just outside of Kilimanjaro National Park. First, we will visit the waterfalls, which are around a 40-minute walk away. On the way, your guide will inform you about the culture of the Chagga, village life, and explain the surrounding fauna and flora. The views are truly breathtaking, and with some luck, you will also see the summit of Kilimanjaro. When you reach the waterfalls, you will see that they are more than 80 meters high. The pool at the bottom of the waterfall is an inviting place for a refreshing swim, so don't forget your swimwear! After having enjoyed the scenery, you will slowly return with your guide to Materuni village, where you will experience a traditional Chagga lunch. You will also have the opportunity to taste the local banana beer, which is not to be missed! Next, the coffee experience awaits you. After a tour, we'll drop you off at Sophie's Homestay
Day 3
Early morning after breakfast, you will drive to Lake Natron, which is one of the most alkaline lakes in the world. Home to millions of tiny crustaceans, the lake is a haven for thousands of lesser flamingos, and it is one of the most important flamingo breeding grounds on earth. The area around the lake is dry and desolate. The strangely beautiful landscape is the attraction in this area. Stay at Lengai Safari Lodge/Natron River Camp.
Day 4
Today, we will walk around the Lake and also visit the waterfalls that gush out of the mountains. It is an excellent swim in the river and under the waterfalls for a nice cool-down from the hot sun. There may be baboons or other wildlife in the gorge. Dinner and overnight at Lengai Safari Lodge/Natron River Camp.
Day 5
After breakfast, you drive to Klein's Gate with your packed lunches, en route to game viewing, and overnight at Africa Safari Masai Boma.
Day 6
We will proceed with a full-day game drive viewing the great migration in the park. The key feature is the Central Serengeti, where this area is a stunning region with kopjes, woodland, riverine vegetation, and open plains. We will then head for an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp:
Day 7
We will proceed for a day game drive viewing the great migration with our packed lunch, then after the drive to Serengeti Central en route, for game viewing. We will then head for an overnight stay at Serengeti Heritage Luxury Camp:
Day 8
After an early breakfast, we will drive to Ngorongoro with our picnic lunch and en route game viewing. We will descend into the crater on a journey to find the black rhino, as rhinos are the hardest to spot in the beautiful crater. Most animals are fairly easy to spot in this park because it is a floor crater. After lunch, we will do a game drive to ascend the crater, and head towards the lodge where we will have dinner and spend the night at Eileen’s Trees Lodge.
Day 9
Today we’ll drive to Lake Eyasi with the picnic lunches to visit the Datoga and Hadzabe tribes will complete your cultural experience at Lake Eyasi. The Datoga are skilled farmers and craftsmen. You will visit their habitat and experience their culture firsthand.
The Hadzabe tribe of Tanzania is the last true nomadic tribe of Africa. We will take you on an amazing adventure with the Hadzabe. You will join the men as they hunt for their daily subsistence using traditional bows and arrows, or join the women as they forage for fruits and berries. This is not a show or a "tourist put on"; we have personal relationships with the elders, and this is the real life of these tribes. Stay at: Eileen’s Trees Lodge.
Day 10
Today, you will visit Basodawish village, where you will be able to visit the school and water project, and experience the culture as well. You will have your lunch and overnight at Tanzanice Farm Lodge.
Day 11
After breakfast, leave the lodge for Lake Manyara for a walking tour for 2 hours, then be picked up by a safari jeep for game viewing in the park with your picnic lunch and search for animals and birds, and enjoy the environment surrounding. After your lunch, you will go for a canoe ride on the lake, where you will be able to enjoy the scenic views of the rest of the national park. This takes place when the water levels are high enough to favor the activity. Evening drive to the Migombani Camp.
Day 12
We will drive to Tarangire National Park, which is famous for its diverse landscape. We will do a game drive through the park, depending on where there are reported sightings of animals (mostly predators, lions, cheetahs, and leopards, as they are harder to spot). Later on, will go to the Tarangire River picnic site and enjoy the beautiful view of the river and animals while having lunch. After lunch, we will proceed with the game drive and stay at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
Day 13
After your hot lunch and game viewing, you will have another full-day game drive in the park, morning and afternoon. Stay at Tarangire Safari Lodge.
Day 14
Today, enjoy a relaxed breakfast, after which you will be transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport via Arusha for your flight back home.
